The daughter of an art and antiques dealer, she first started painting on Curaçao but it was a period spent studying with the great Austrian Expressionist painter Oscar Kokoschka in London in the 1950s that really defined the direction of her work, her express artistic aim, to capture 'the fleeting moment of insight' deriving from Kokoschka's great faith in her ability. Exuberant, expressive and intensely truthful, she is still painting aged 95. Showing at the D utch Centre. NU THUMB nail S uzanne Perlman ‘Road to Brakkeput’
