BELGRAVE ST IVES
22 Fore Street, St Ives, Cornwall TR26 1HE
Jessica Cooper:
‘About Home’. Jun 9–28.
Inaugural one-person exhibition. Travelling between
St Ives and her current home in West Cornwall, the
journey became a metaphor for life; evoking memories
from childhood, when she lived in a small hamlet between
St Ives and Cape Cornwall. Conjuring up images of
domestic objects and family rituals the distillation of
everday objects and places contains an intense intimacy
expressed in the simplest of forms through the artist’s
emotive power.
