reviews of shows that are listed in the printed edition of
Galleries and on this website. Reviews should be no more than
100-150 words long and submitted to ed@galleries.co.uk.
.
. . what's in it for you? Glory?
and the offer of a year's free subscription or the donation of
£12 to a Children's Hospice if the piece is published in
Galleries magazine and so on if you repeat the trick. Reviews
may also be published on facebook.com/galleriesartlist but with
just a byline as acknowledgement.
.
. . copy Copy
should be submitted as text in the body of an email. If
illustrative images are available they should be sent as 300dpi
attachments no larger than 600mm on the longest side, they
should be acknowledged by authors as available for publication
and copyright has been granted for this purpose. If no images
are attached they may be sourced by the publisher without
referral to the author. Emails must have full residential and
digital contact details of submitting authors.
.
. . .credits Authors
will have pieces published either with their given names or
Initials which may be referred to separately from their names
elsewhere on the Galleries website or within Galleries magazine
.
. . affirmation Authors
must affirm that they have no commercial connection with the
reviewed artists' works or exhibition. The review is submitted
in the spirit of promoting the work to a wider audience for the
benefit of that audience.
