In September The Garden Gallery will hold a special exhibition of sculpture by three talented and visionary artists, Elizabeth Herkstroter, Jonathan Loxley and Roger Stephens.  All three work in the abstract creating poised serene sculptures which, even when conveying a sense of movement possess a contemplative stillness, in harmony with the quiet atmospheric setting of the gallery’s garden.  Elizabeth’s group of seven stone carvings are inspired by the seven sacraments and seven chakras.  Jonathan’s exquisite understanding of the geometry of form and structure is powerfully expressed in his stone and metal sculptures, while Roger’s stone carvings, occasionally incorporating stainless steel, explore the themes of regeneration and new life.

The exhibition will run from Saturday 2 September (Private View 11- 5) until 23 September, on Saturdays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11 â€" 5.  The Garden Gallery is open by arrangement at all other times.  For further information and photographs contact Rachel Bebb at The Garden Gallery, Rookery Lane, Broughton, Stockbridge, Hampshire  SO20 8AZ.  Tel: 01794 301144 / rachelbebb@aol.com  /  www.gardengallery.uk.com
