An Exhibition selected by Michael Parkin

This exciting exhibition is on the theme of Twentieth Century Dance. It includes a variety of medium including prints, sketches, watercolours and oils. Included in the exhibition are;

1920ıs costume designs for the Russian Ballet by Bakst, Picasso and Goncharova

Sophie Fedorovitchıs set and costume designs for Sir Frederick Ashton at The Royal Ballet

1970-90ıs costume designs by John Macfarlane, Ian Spurling, Leslie Hurry and David Walker for the Birmingham Royal Ballet, Sadlerıs Wells and the Royal Ballet.

Dame Laura Knight drawings of the ballet.

A set design by Sir Cecil Beaton.

Charles Labordeıs lively etchings of 1920ıs Paris.

1940ıs watercolours of conductorıs by Francis Marshall and a fascinating sketch of Stravinsky by William Rothenstein
