Troubadour Gallery has been open since August 2004. Owners Gwyneth Jones (professional artist, illustrator and muralist for over twenty-five years) and James Chapman-Kelly (columnist, freelance writer), have built up an imposing selection of gallery artists. To name but a few they include: Tony Ross ­­­- illustrator with a permanent display at Manchester City Gallery; Chris Moore – the book ‘Journeyman’ by Stephen Gallagher was written about him; Gordon Crabb; George Underwood – played with David Bowie, illustrated the seminal ‘Ziggy’ album covers; Joseph O’Reilly – works held in the private collections of the Duke of Devonshire, Boston University, Holland and Australia; Ian Pollock – world renowned illustrator and artist; Helen Clapcott – one of the few artists who have mastered the technique of egg tempera; John Kimpton; Tony Wells; David Farren – consistently sells out at the Manchester Art Fair; Robert Jenkins – works held in many European galleries; Lucy Burscough, and Ben Turner.

            The gallery will be hosting a show featuring these and other ‘gallery artists’ in February 2006. Preview night is Friday, February 17th 6 to 8PM. The exhibition will be available to view online at www.troubadour-gallery.co.uk from  February 10th. The show will run for ten weeks and end on Sunday April 30th. Opening hours are Tuesday to Sunday (inclusive) 11 to 5PM.
