“Painting for me is a great passion...but, first of all, the way to express emotions. It is a summary of experience, sensitivity and reflection. It is posing the questions and undertaking the answers. It is the form of communication between me and the world.” Marianna Marianna Grabowska graduated from the State High School of Fine Art in Wroclaw with a diploma in Visual Communications and Exhibition Organizing. Between 19861991, she studied at the Poznan Academy of Fine Arts, obtaining a diploma with commendation in the Visual Pedagogy Department under Prof. Piotr C Kowalski. Between 19911995, she studied at the same Academy, in the Painting, Printmaking, and Sculpture Department, obtaining a second diploma under Prof. Norbert Skupniewicz. In 2007, she completed postgraduate studies in Business Management for Creative Artists and Art Managers at the University of Warsaw. For many years she was involved in teaching children and young people and between 20042016 she was the director of the town cultural centre in Kolo. She was the creator of the International Painting and Ceramic Plein Airs organized by this institution. In her artistic work, Marianna is a prolific painter (oil on canvas and acrylic). She has taken part in many plein airs and exhibitions, with international or Polish artists, and has also had many individual shows. For her creative artistic work, she was awarded many prizes. She is a member of Polish Artists Association ZPAP. Marianna lives and works in Kolo, in Poland
