I AM WOMAN

The Summerhouse gallery is proud to showcase a collective of

talented female artists, as a celebration of the female, in our up

and coming show, 'I Am Woman'.

What is so exciting about creating a feminine representation, in

any medium, is the varied forms in which she can present herself.

The show will focus on what it is to be female through a range of

manifestations, from the physical form to exploring perception,

experience, thought, emotion and mental process, highlighting how

our artists themselves view the world.

A wonderful collection of artists, ranging from the established to

the up and coming, lend their unique styles to ultimately create a

stunning, and thoughtful portrayal of the female.

A fun, lighthearted silent auction will be held on the evening of our

private viewing where attendees can bid on works from our

featured artists, with all proceeds donated to the charity Target, in

support of ovarian cancer. As well as this, a percentage of all

proceeds from the show itself will be given to this extremely

worthwhile cause.
