Midsummer Art Fair 2014

Saturday 21st June Sunday 22nd June 2013

10.00am - 5.00pm

Housed in the magnificent surroundings of the Landmark Arts Centre, Teddington,

south-west London, the Midsummer Art Fair is a firmly established major event in the

visual arts calendar. A Grade II* listed building, the Centre, a 19th century former

church, makes a unique setting for showing the best in contemporary fine art.

At this year’s Midsummer Art Fair, taking place on Saturday 21st June to Sunday

22nd June, from 10.00am - 5.00pm, visitors will find a huge variety of fine art

encompassing a range of media including painting, sculpture, graphics, print, illustration

and mixed media plus high quality ceramics, jewellery and textiles. The Landmark’s Art

Fairs focus on showcasing individual artists and crafts people, including recent

graduates and new talent, giving visitors the opportunity to meet and buy direct from the

artist rather than via a gallery.

New for this year is ‘Landmark Launch Pad’ which is an exciting opportunity for

emerging artists to exhibit their work alongside commercial artists in a professional

setting. The Landmark Art Fairs have established themselves over the last 20 years as

being high quality showcases for creative talent and have become well regarded within

the art buying public. The art fair curator Ben Kidger has allocated a separate room for

this exhibition in order to promote and introduce new talent to the commercial art world.

It is being coordinated and curated by new but highly committed and skilled individuals

who are studying fine art courses.

Ends.
