Helen Napper " Swimmers"

Don`t miss "Swimmers", an Aldeburgh Festival Exhibition curated by Anne Thomson, former owner of the Sue Rankin and Thackeray Galleries, London.

Helen Napper has exhibited with Anne Thomson since 1988. Together they have shown in London, New York and Los Angeles. Paintings by Helen Napper are in public and private collections in USA, UK, Australia, Hong Kong, Germany,  France, Italy and Belgium. She has lived in Aldeburgh for the past 16 years and, by her reckoning, has spent 2,592 hours of those years swimming in the sea, the river and in swimming-pools. These jewel-like paintings and life-size tin figures of swimmers are the fruit of all those hours of research.
