Mayfair Art Weekend , the annual celebration of the world’s internationally renowned gallery district, will take place this summer from Friday 24 – Sunday 26 June 2022 . Inviting audiences to explore exceptional art in galleries and artist studios, visitors will also find public art across Mayfair for a whole month as part of the Mayfair Sculpture Trail , a Mayfair Art Weekend collaboration with Art in Mayfair from 20 June – 31 July . Additionally, the celebrated Gallery HOP! will take place on Friday 24 June with galleries staying open until 8pm, followed by a full weekend of free talks, tours, performances and family activities. Since 2014, independent galleries across Mayfair have united for Mayfair Art Weekend to present an unrivalled opportunity for art enthusiasts to immerse themselves in London’s vibrant hub of creativity and craftsmanship, and to engage with the internationally diverse offering of free exhibitions and art events. This ninth edition of Mayfair Art Weekend celebrates the unrivalled landscape of creativity and craftsmanship of Mayfair – including art galleries, auction houses, artist studios and The Royal Academy of Arts. You’ll find regular favourites such as Hauser & Wirth, The Mayor Gallery and Mazzoleni a mongst galleries new to the programme including Carl Kostyál on Savile Row. Gallery tours will be offered all day on Saturday 25 June, along with talks and events within galleries. On Sunday 26 June family activities will be run in the galleries, as well as the third May Fair Art Weekend Showreel hosted by partners, The May Fair Hotel, in their world-renowned May Fair Theatre. Launched in 2021, Access All Areas , a programme of events promoting diversity through behind the scenes insight for young people in partnership with Art Market Mentors and Good Nugget , will also feature in Sunday's programme.
