The same digital edition is separately promoted via c. 5,000 private international wifi portals around the world. Archived digital access is also available and printed back copies are priced according to scarcity, starting at £12 a copy. Galleries has an editorial bibliography database dating from the first issue, June 1983. Researchers can request information on authors, shows, galleries or artists by email or phone, access is priced according to the request. Social Media: exhibition openings listed in the relevant issue of Galleries are posted to the magazine’s 10K + social media followers on facebook, twitter and instagram, on a day to day basis. GALLERIES artists’ websites, press releases The Galleries website at www.galleries.co.uk hosts additional information and pages not found in the printed edition. Press releases indexed and archived back to 2005 at galleries.co.uk/pr have upfront information on forthcoming exhibitions, artists’ website links appearing in print and online show representative imagery, and the monthly openings diary is also indexed by artist/exhibition title. The site is fully searchable through the digital edition and search engine. GALLERIES distribution This current January/February issue with a print run of 30,000 copies, is being distributed twice, once at the beginning of the year and again at the end of January to cover February. The readership of the magazine comprises those who use it as a regular monthly guide to New Exhibitions and openings and as a galleries’ stock guide and locator. The national distribution of Galleries focussing on art galleries and particularly hotels ensures that there is a constantly changing profile of those who use the magazine; from visitors to the UK, to collectors with an eye to gallery openings and their locations. Unlike subscription magazines the readership constantly evolves and changes and is refreshed each month giving advertisers access to potential new clients with each new issue.
