He believes in drawing as the catalyst for the artist and designer. He works with a number of artist groups and has been involved in commissions and teaching projects with many museums, schools, charity organisations and corporate companies. Trained at the Camberwell School of Art and the RA in the 1970s, Jason has taught and practised his art ever since. Fred Cuming RA has devoted his life to expressing fleeting impressions of the world around him. He captures the moods and atmospheres generated by landscape, still life or interior. He often paints around Rye where he lives. In 2001 he was given the honour of being the Featured Artist in the Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition, with an entire gallery of his own.
