Stephen King ‘England 10 - Nepal 15’ April 15th - 21st 2019 54 The Gallery, Shepherd Market, London W1J7QX Juxtaposing 15 paintings fromNepal with 10 paintings from England, this exhibition is in celebration of the special relationship between our two small countries. One thing that unites us is an obsession with football at all levels. In October 2017 Stephen King organised a football tournament in Kyanjin Gompa at 4300 metres. The people of Langtang valley challenged the visiting trekkers and mountaineers to a series of football games for men, women and juniors. In filming the event King realised that it was the first time he had seen trekkers and locals having fun together. www.stephenkinggallery.com
