The gallery put out a wide call for artists to submit their work for the exhibition and from that, have curated a select group of works across mixed media making a positvely diverse response, and “not all paintings and drawings of nude women”. Historically life drawing has formed the grounding for art teaching. This has been superceded by a looser contemporary interpretation of the value of its study. This exhibition brings together an amalgam of artists approaching the subject from both points of view. PH THUMB nail Lee Hardman ‘Seated Woman Waiting’
