Parts of objects or faces are also key, hinting at an incomplete story for the viewer to respond to, along with a landscape or interiors setting with ‘dream space’ qualities. She likes the delicacy and immediacy of using watercolour, and collage for adding a playful element. After studying at the Edinburgh College of Art she won travelling scholarships to Germany and Greece. Along with solo shows in and out of London, group exhibitions have included Society of Women Artists and Royal Watercolour Society at such venues as Mall Galleries, Bankside Gallery and also at Greenwich Printmakers .
