After being artist- in-residence at a former 12th century monastery turned hotel near Florence, Tudur now lives full time in Tuscany. Following the particularly harsh winter of 2015 there, he has produced 20 works, for the most part watercolours, and brought them back for exhibition at Ffyn y Parc Gallery . They reveal an altogether very different wintery world from traditional Tuscan sunshine – for example isolated farmhouses emerging densely out ofthe snow as the lights come on in the evening.
