An installation ENGLAND Founded in 1991 in a romantically characterful disused 19th century factory at Chalford, in a wooded valley just outside Stroud, Gallery Pangolin has an enviable reputation as a leading specialist in Modern and Contemporary Sculpture and Sculptors’ drawings. Now it’s celebrating a 25th anniversary in some style this month with an exhibition, entitled ‘Jubilee’. Some 17 of the 40 exhibits have been especially commissioned from sculptors associated with the gallery, to be produced in silver – a process considerably aided of course by the fact that their foundry, Pangolin Editions, is part of the same complex. With Damien Hirst, Steve Dilworth, Abigail Fallis and Eilie O’Connell among the exhibitors, it should prove to be quite a show. Nicholas Usherwood THUMB nail Jonathan Kingdon ‘Pangolin’
