The 10th anniversary show is ofwork by a mixed group ofgallery artists plus three mid 20th century artists including Londoner David Gommon (1913-87) who fell in love with the Dorset landscape after cycling there in the 1930s. As a young artist he was exhibited alongside names including Henry Moore and Cedric Morris, with early work influenced by Neo Romantics including Paul Nash and Graham Sutherland. Later watercolours were bolder, brighter and stronger with inspiration from the Dorset landscape and coastline.
