Originally a café which catered for swimmers of the public lido, built by the council in 1923, it was renovated by the group after the building had been left to become derelict. Directly pointing to this local authority connection is CGP’s latest commission, a site specific installation by Paul Carter, showing with a number ofother works. Titled ‘Municipal’, the installation features large scale works, smaller scale panels and the rendering ofThe Gallery’s back wall.
