Thus, working with theFrancis Isles Gallery in Canterbury, who started showing a group of some20 or so artists from the St Petersburg area under the nameof ‘Artists of Russia’ in early 2015, they are now exhibiting examples by some 12 of them. The subject matter is wide-ranging – from ballet dancers to horses via landscape and still life– and all painted with astonishing technical virtuosity.
