The wilder the better – from the peaks and forests of Snowdonia to the chequered hills of Shropshire – but it is never an art of woolly romanticism because Dewsbury has a keen eye for detail, for the subtle changes being made to it. A perfect artist, in short, for Much Wenlock’s Twenty Twenty Gallery . He is sharing the space with tempera painter Chris Welsh who will be giving the gallery’s Perch Talk – like the Ted Talks but delivered from a specially designed portable bench – on 12 September!
