Training at the Slade in the early 50s under the great John Buckland-Wright, she became an art editor at the Oxford University Press before marriage in 1962 took her to work with her husband on the Kenyan- Ugandan border. She continued to paint and make prints and has done so ever since she returned to Britain in 1965. Her latest work is mostly copper and steel plate etchings but over the years she seems to have experimented with a really quite wide variety of THUMB nails
