NEW ARTIST FAIR Summer Exhibition Showcasing 100 contemporary Artists Now in its 5th year and with over 100 emerging and recently established artists showing in 2015, the New Artist Fair Summer Exhibition is an idea which has really taken off. With over 1000 originals and prints showing at the now regular venue, The Old Truman Brewery in Brick Lane (4 to 6 September), and prices between £20 and £2000 (up from £1000 last year offering buyers a wider range of good quality work), the art remains within an affordable range. It also offers a terrific variety of styles and techniques from landscapes, abstracts and portraits to painting, photography and printmaking. Being artist rather than dealer led, its low overheads and absence of dealers’ commissions make it an attractive proposition both for artists and collectors, many of whom seem to come back year after year.
