Latest exhibition is Scottish Expressionist painter Joseph Urie; born 1947 and trained at Dundee and the RA Schools, he has shown with the likes of Ken Currie and Stephen Conroy. Best known for his large, painterly canvases full of ambiguous symbolism, this new show, essentially a small retrospective of his works on paper from 1978 to the present day, highlights his more unfamiliar oil sketches, watercolours, prints and drawings – vivid, mysterious and passionately engaged.
