Celebrating the fact that Wales has more castles per square mile than any other country, Oriel y Parc , St Davids, are showing ‘Picturing Castles’ until November 16, looking at how artists have approached the subject over the past 350 years. At Moma Wales , Machynlleth, continuing October exhibitions include Elizabeth Haines’ work on Welsh mountains until October 19, and Holly Whittaker’s Aberystwyth seascapes until November 2. North Wales Ucheldre Centre , Holyhead are inviting the public to leave their page 42 including work by John Knapp Fisher, William Selwyn, Kyffin Williams and more, also marble sculpture by Darren Yeadon. Lynda Jones has a solo show at New Leaf Gallery , Monmouth starting October 5, with captivating images ofa very green Welsh landscape.
