In his latest exhibition at Highgate Gallery photography is a new-ish addition to this melting pot –what he engagingly refers to as ‘mash-ups’ –in mixed-media paintings which seem concerned, above all, with making sense of the multiplicity, even discordancy, of the visual imagery he encounters on his regular walks around Hampstead Heath and London streets.
