Unlike many, even today I’m afraid to say, it was immediately warm and friendly, the conversation excellent and the art on show well worth looking at. No wonder it thrived and became Flowers, the huge, two gallery in London enterprise of today! So it is, with some dismay as well as the greatest of pleasure, with which I note that their East branch in Kingsland Road is currently celebrating her 80th birthday with a tremendous mixed show that celebrates 44 of the artists she has shown – including her gifted daughter Rachel Heller.
