Equally refreshingly there are only two from London (who so often tend to dominate) – the Slade and City and Guilds. Otherwise the net is spread splendidly wide, from Falmouth to Newcastle, Aberystwyth to Leeds while the work ranges from painting, printmaking and sculpture to film and photography. Other institutions please copy – there are plenty more colleges out there still needing support – and collectors, take a look, and buy. NU THUMB nails
