Mon–Sat 10.30–5.30, Sun 11–5 t 01885 490839 Trained at the Royal College by Peter Blake and David Tindle in the early 70s, Mike Holcroft has been on an interesting artistic journey since then that would seem to have gone out via late Pop and Abstract Expressionism and a period in Pembrokeshire and come back, via a visual immersion in painting the observed truths of plants and flowers, to his Northern routes – running a gallery with his wife, the Water Street , in Todmorden. Dynamic, luminous, richly coloured meditations on natural history seen as, he puts it, with the inner eye. NU THUMB nails Mike Holcroft ‘Baby’s Breath’
