This year it’s celebrating 50 years in better health than ever with a large international membership (23 countries and including cult figure H.R. Giger of Alien fame) and a big show of 150+ works at La Galleria this month. It is worth noting too that though this is a largely selling exhibition, it is a showcase too for masterpieces of the art from earlier events. NU Brigid Marlin, ‘Ship of Souls’, (detail)
